Sales Managers’ Programs

The Sales Managers’ Programs are designed for current and aspiring sales managers who are responsible for developing high performance sales teams. They are available as online only, online tutor-led, and online tutor-led with assessments.

For the latter two options, cohort groups are limited to a maximum of 20 learners, to ensure effective tutor management and course leadership.

Each program involves approximately 40 hours of study time, delivered over a twelve week period, and this includes 6 live tutor-led webinars. At all times throughout the program, the learner has direct contact with the tutor for questions and general program guidance via email and messaging.

A subscription to ManagementDirect is also included to support the learning experience.

Training Programs

Leading a Team

This module explores transactional leadership: to share a vision and to set goals and define tasks that move people towards the vision. Leadership skills include building trust, focusing people on the right tasks, creating accountability and maintaining alignment.

Coaching & Mentoring

This program explores the principles of coaching and mentoring, and the skills for planning, delivering a coaching or mentoring programme and for and evaluating own coaching or mentoring practice.

Analysing the Financial Performance of Customers

Analysing the financial potential and performance of customer accounts to better develop joint business plans and move up the customer relationship pyramid. The aim of this program is to ensure sales managers have the skills to analyse and manage the financial performance of customer accounts.

Bid & Tender Management

This program develops the knowledge and skills for bid and tender management. Bid and tender management involves working to strict timescales, producing documentation to support the bid and tendering the bid.

  • Two written assignments that you will complete. These will be assessed and you will get 1-to-1 feedback and recommendations. This leads to certification from the ISM – Institute of Sales Management
